Our commitment in plain language

Penciling.in is a free resource for children, parents, and teachers. We do not ask you to create an account, enter an email address, or share any personal information to download our educational printables. We have designed the site so that no personal data is required to use it.

What data we collect

We do not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information (PII) from visitors, including children under the age of 16.

• No name, email, or phone number is requested at any point.
• No account registration exists on this site.
• PDF downloads are direct file links — no download gates, sign-ups, or data capture forms are required.
• When enabled, we may record basic first-party aggregate usage metrics such as page visits, PDF download counts, and share button clicks to understand which educational resources are most useful.

Cookies & analytics (No tracking cookies)

Penciling.in does not use advertising networks, cross-site trackers, behavioral profiling, or persistent client-tracking cookies. Under the EU ePrivacy Directive ("Cookie Law"), no cookie consent banner is required because we do not set non-essential tracking cookies.

• We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics for high-level, aggregate traffic measurement. Cloudflare Web Analytics is 100% cookieless and does not collect or store personal data.
• These measurements are used solely to monitor site performance, prevent abuse, and identify which printable categories need more content.
• We do not build personal profiles or track visitors across third-party websites.

Children's privacy (COPPA, DPDP & UK/EU Children's Code)

Penciling.in content is crafted for children aged 2–10, used under parental or educator guidance. We strictly adhere to child privacy standards worldwide:

• COPPA (US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) — we do not collect personal information from children under 13.
• India DPDP Act 2023 (Digital Personal Data Protection) — we do not process personal data or engage in behavioral monitoring of children.
• GDPR Article 8 & UK Age Appropriate Design Code (Children's Code) — we implement "Privacy by Design" and "Privacy by Default". There is no profiling, no automated targeting, and no commercial exploitation of children's attention or data.

If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us (for example, by sending an email), please contact us immediately and we will permanently delete it.

European Union & UK visitors (GDPR & UK GDPR)

If you are accessing Penciling.in from the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, the following additional information applies under the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and UK Data Protection Act 2018:

• Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)): Transient technical network requests (such as IP addresses handled by our CDN/hosting provider, Cloudflare) are processed under our legitimate interest to deliver web pages securely, prevent denial-of-service attacks, and ensure network stability.

Some pages contain links to Amazon.in for physical product purchases. Once you leave penciling.in, Amazon's own privacy policy governs your data. We are not responsible for Amazon's data practices.

PDF downloads

All PDFs are hosted on our own servers. Standard web server logs and first-party download counters may record technical request data such as time, requested file, and basic browser or network information needed to deliver the file and measure overall usage. We do not use this information to identify individual children or create user accounts.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site grows. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date at the top. We will not introduce data collection without clearly communicating it here first.
