On August 25, 1904, the banana split was invented by David Evans Strickler! He was a 23-year-old pharmacist who created the three-scoop ice cream sundae in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. Colour this sweet treat and imagine what flavours you would choose for your own giant sundae.
